You have chosen a degree program at TU Berlin, fulfill the admission requirements, and would like to apply. Now what?
You can directly enroll in free admission degree programs without first applying. This means you submit an application for enrollment (online).
If you would like to apply for a restricted admission degree program, you can increase your chance of admission by submitting one or more special requests. Special requests are part of the application documents. What special requests can you apply for?

When applying for a bachelor’s program:
- Request for improvement of grade point average
- Request for less waiting time due to delayed secondary degree
- Request for special consideration due to exceptional circumstances
When applying for a master’s program:
- Request for special consideration due to exceptional circumstances
Applicants with an international higher education entrance qualification
- Regardless of your nationality, as an applicant with an international university entrance qualification you must apply via uni-assist.
- You cannot submit a special request. An advance quota [1] is already offered to you.
